I have been working at Hewlett-Packard full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

Work-life balance is a plus

Cons

Year after year of no bonus or raise with good review while continuing to add responsibilities can be ...demoralizing

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

Friendly Staff, great products, and a aging workforce

    Cons

The Management, Upper Management, Corruption, company doesn't believe in raises, you are limited to the raise you get if you switch to a higher paying job, only 20% max raise when doing so. It was normal for me to work 80+ hour weeks and they would still ask for more but the managers would work 20 hour weeks and were hard to get a hold of.

    I have been working at Hewlett-Packard part-time

    Pros

Employees are paid a monthly salary

    Cons

    Long hours with low pay.
Limited promotions even after putting in ridiculous hours
High attrition due to many abandoning this sinking ship
    Excess workload for remaining employees
Lots of cost cutting originally started by Mark Hurd leading to cut in innovation and non investment in employees.

    Advice to Management

Invest in training employees. Promote instead of giving excuses.
