    Pros

    - On site caff ran by Sedexo is great
    - Nice interior coutyard and patio
    - Lots of outdoor activities for employees
    - Large pavilion and baseball diamond

    Cons

Contract Administrator is the NEW name for what was once a Support Agreement Specialist. The name was to technical a title so it was changed to Contract Administrator to do-emphisize the technical aspect of the job function. As such, most of us were outsourced to Spherion, an on-site Managed Service Agreement provider that was hired to run the "admin" Contracts department for HP while paying the employees less money.

The Roseville campus looks like a ghost town with more vacant buildings than a real ghost town has.

Monday is the traditional day of Workforce Reductions. People are let go on a regular basis as the company tries to move most if not all of its operations down to Costa Rica and over to India. This company is all about big numbers and wants Customers to spend millions on their products while they (HP) spend next to nothing on Support for their Customers.

People get laid off from this Company and immediately try to find another job within the Company or as a contractor still working at the Company (Spherion), generally making less money. Why? Because most of the skills you will get at this Company are useless ells where! Also, the culture of this Company is so intoxicating that people are socially inhibited and not able to better themselves on the outside. People are taught to be afraid to ask for a raise or promotional opportunities. They are taught that HP will make all the decisions and you will like it or be tossed out on the street.

    Advice to Management

Stop lying to your employees and tell them the truth! If you cannot do this because you are so intoxicated with HP, just remember that the “at-will” employment you throw up to your employees all the time is a two way street. The employee can walk out without notice leaving you to clean up the mess you created. There are better paying jobs out there at places that are better to work at then HP, so be careful how you treat your employees!
