Pros

Flexible work, remote work, smart co-workers

Cons

Cuts to pay and benefits keep coming to the regular employees, yet stock price is climbing. Those employees without stock performance bonuses (90%) are fed up and leaving.

Advice to Management

Put Employees first, not greed, the HP brand is becoming tarnished with the blood of it's employees.

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

    Respected company
Opportunity to work with smart people

    Cons

    Low pay
Decision influence by stock market too much
Offshore exercises are for the sake of cost saving only
Many people are staying just to wait until their pension kicks in

    Advice to Management

Innovation is HP's root, not cost efficiency. Cutting so much into R&D efforts is a fatal mistake.

    Pros

Casual work environment with flexible hours. You also gain an extra day of vacation for every year you work there, which can really add up.

    Cons

Upper management seems to view employees as nothing more than an annoying cost. There are constantly new site closures, lay-offs, and cuts to your compensation, and these are often done in very dishonest ways.

    Advice to Management

Your employees are your greatest investment. For as long as they are not compensated fairly, the best ones will continue to leave, and that's a loss you can't get back with cost-cutting.
