Was able to learn a lot which was helpful for my first job after taking university classes.

Open office made work environment very quit in order to not disturb others.
After I mastered all of my day to day duties would easily get bored with work

Harmonious atmosphere, good environment to share your thoughts to others and show your creative ideas to your colleagues and executives.

Trust issue. Too many constraints in execution stage on sales and marketing expense. Focusing on target-oriented too much.

I have been working at Hewlett-Packard full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

It's the only job I have today - 20 years at HP

    Cons

all of the rest. bad salaries, poor benefits, bad treatment from managers, too much preasure to succeed in a taught environment, focused in reducing cost rather than expanding the revenues, too much focus in the cents savings while loosing billions in wrong purchases like Authonomy in where HP lose 10800 millions of dollars... too much focus in considering the employees as a cost rather than a path for success... lack of deep knowledge of some managers in the subjects they are in charge of... enough¡¡¡

    Advice to Management

You'll not get good results by ignoring the employees needs.- HP in the greatest moments treated employees with dignity and was very respectful of salaries and benefits policies paying salaries among the best in the marketplace. HP started to decline when abandoned this policy. It's an employee based company but some moanagers are more focused in their bonuses rather than employees. Very easy to earn a big check with 000000 by firing 35000 employees... there is no merit at all in the current managment. Looking forward to some company taking over the portfolio that might improve employees situation and fire all the stupid managers driving the company today.
