Disapproves of CEO

Pros

- global reach
- you get to work with some talented people from around the world
- company produces a few cool technologies

Cons

- The fact that the company chooses not to participate in Fortune's "Best Companies to Work for" says how much they care about it.
- No development opportunities if you are an individual contributor.
- Very depressing work environment. Old, broken equipment, you are squeezed with your co-workers in very small space - if you have a cubicle, that is.

Advice to Management

It's sad to see the values that the founders built the company on get trampled. Treat employees as equal human beings and give them the respect and dignity everyone deserves.

    Pros

Flexible working time, Good Direct Manager(Depend on boss you met), Industry focusing,

    Cons

    1. No clear development strategy of IT service, at least, not well communicate with team.
    2. Still not finished integration with EDS from business model, service line perspective, what direction of enterprise service?
    3. Complicate and slow internal opeation process
    4. No knowledge sharing mechanism, No knowledge warehouse, only holden by team or personel
    5. Short-term resources plan, make people feel unstable, layoff people days before but recruiting others days after when new project won
    6. Not real project oriented, project manager has no sufficient right to review members performance, control the team. Team members' work would not be recognized in current evaluation process.

    Advice to Management

Better to learn other companies in field of IT service business. The service does not simply covers services of HP hardware, also to consulting service of enterprise application, business process IT realization. By the way, EDS model definitely not fit to China market at least in following 10 years, willsee its failure
