      Pros

      Good pay, good office space, good travel benefits. Spendthrift with project budgets pre-COVID.

      Cons

      This global #2 "Great Place to Work" utterly failed its corporate employees in the handling of this pandemic. Updates were overly positive all the way until the sudden furlough and retrenchment. Morale is terrible even for those not retrenched as trust has been broken.

      Pros

      Great staff and lowermanagement. Last general manager was unfriendly and not very helpful.

      Cons

      I was supposed to get long tenure status for lifetime friends of family with my veteran status. Worked at Hilton 9+ years. Supposed to get 1 year for my veteran status (according to the handbook at that time) which would make 10 years. HR supposedly turned in application in August 2024. I even followed up and was told they were working it. It's been almost 2 years and haven't heard anything yet. Very disappointed and dissatisfied. Guess I won't be staying at Hilton Hotels.
