Pros

Working for Hilton is wonderful. You are in a beautiful setting, catered food and beverage, and get to meet generally great people.

Cons

A lot of positions in a hotel do not pay very well.

    I worked at Hilton part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    I had a great supervisor and manager. They were both attentive to the employees and professional in every aspect. My coworkers were fun to work with. Great discounts on hotels.

    Cons

    My hotel was slow during the summer and super busy during the holidays. That made scheduling a real hassle for the managers. There were a couple of bad managers but thankfully not in my department.

    Advice to Management

    Drum up more off-season business. Sadly that's easier said then done. Also, ditch those 1 or 2 bad managers.

    people, job security, free range for creative ability, core values of hospitality

    Cons

    Freshness of food (frozen goods), menu is not up to par with my standards, pay isnt as much as i would like, more responsibility and leadership traits then my title and pay range is

    Pay employees more money to produce and perfect hospitality
