Pros

Able to manage your own territory
Great sales job for sales reps with no experiece
Very good field to become knowledgeable in
Offers a good resume builder

Cons

Micromanaging to the extreme
Must be Korean to move up within the company
Unfair territories (Korean Reps get all the Korean Dr's)
Totally unfair pay, most Implant company Reps make about 60k base, Hiossen Reps make 29k
Commissions are never paid on time, and are never paid the correct amount
Reimbursement for mileage is unfair
Terrible atmosphere to work in, management never has a good thing to say about the job that you do

I have been working at Hiossen full-time

    Pros

you will learn a lot. it is a great opportunity to get into the industry, meet great people, and make a positive impact on the world.

they promote from within. contrary to other reviews, you do not have to be Korean. you just have to work hard and do a good job to prove yourself

the company has made many positive changes over the years. this tells me that they are adapting. this is still a young company, but it is growing and evolving. with the right attitude, working here is fun and you can develop a passion for dentistry and changing patients' lives, while also acquiring very useful knowledge that will help you be a respected industry professional.

    Cons

it really depends where you are. the salary, unfortunately, doesn't take into account the cost of living in your area. the where will also determine who your direct superior(s) is/are, and the manager(s) may not be a good fit for you.

    Advice to Management

please pay good people what they deserve, or they will be lost. some people are irreplaceable, and money is the best way to retain them.

please compensate the managers well, so that they will spend more time supporting their reps properly and help them succeed.

    I worked at Hiossen full-time

    Pros

Working at the Minneapolis branch I learned so much from my branch manager. I enjoyed the flexibility of the job and working with the doctors and their staff. You get to meet a lot of great people.

    Cons

There are always down sides, I would say there is a lot of driving which is expected with a sales job.

    Advice to Management

Consider wage increase and car expense increase.
