Pros

Great mission and real success in making an impact in the Hispanic community.
Reasonable non-profit salaries.
Good infrastructure, support services and work environment - unlike many non-profits. Great location in downtown San Francisco

Cons

High level mission and goals not very achievable - hard to relate day to day activities. Senior management can be very absent, with a lot of direction given only by email and phone.

Advice to Management

Need to support "big goal" strategies with realistic plans to achieve them. Or set less lofty, but achievable visions. Needs to be more opportunity for people to voice honest dissenting opinions.
