I have been working at Hollister Co. part-time (Less than a year)

Pros

My managers are cool and fun and my coworkers are friendly. It has great discounts. The atmosphere in the store is very laid back. very flexible with your schedule.

Cons

The pay is horrible. The music is too loud. Store is too dark. we only work about 3-4 hours, and you don't work every day. You're on call most of the time.

Advice to Management

Employees should get more hours not only 3-4.

I worked at Hollister Co. part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You can basically make your own schedule and swap shifts whenever you like. It was a convenient way to get a little bit of extra money. It's fun for the most part. The managers aren't breathing down your neck all the time. You work with people your age, so you have a lot in comment. Fun environment,

    Cons

It was extremely annoying to close and have to work until whatever time at night and you only get paid minimum wage. No raises. No bonuses. No way to move up to MIT until you complete your
BA/BS and some people with those degrees would be hired as a manager when they've never worked at a Hollister, ever. You barely get hours and they make you buy the clothes. You can't use the discount on clearance. A bunch of stupid rules. Basically a side job. If its your main job, there's a good chance you'll be broke most of the time. Good FIRST job, or a job you're trying to work around a school schedule with. Shouldn't stay for more than a year though. They hire everybody who's not an idiot, so getting hours is ridiculously difficult, unless you're taking other people's shifts.

    Advice to Management

None. They don't control anything. Corporate does.
