I worked at Hollister Co. part-time (Less than a year)

Pros

Laid back, not mentally intensive. Your job is organizing and folding clothes and helping someone find items in a store. Pretty simple stuff generally.

Cons

Loud repetitive music, customers seamlessly make messes, folding clothes for life, always new employees, cheap pay, customers can end up with better discounts than employees,

Advice to Management

Assistant manager was rude and condescending all the time. They should've had better trainers or legitimate training. I felt lost 90% of the time and never knew what to do. Hollister should also change the way we greet customers. "Hey what's up" doesn't generally sound proper towards every type of customer to walk in.

I worked at Hollister Co. part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Standardizing and greeting people at the door are really easy tasks.

    Cons

Hardly received breaks, and a couple of times the manager asked me to work through my break and I could leave early. However, upon the end of my shift he asks me to stay. On-call shifts were terrible, once they called me a hour ahead of time telling me to come in, and 30 minutes later the manager called once again to tell me I'm not needed. It was extremely inconvenient.

    Advice to Management

Give your employees enough time for break and do not guilt them into working through their breaks, it is illegal!
