      I have been working at HollyFrontier Corporation full-time for more than a year

      Pros

      Good company with lots of potential to keep growing. Could be awesome with the right leadership.

      Cons

      Several of the executives are jerks but CEO is great. Long history of favoritism and good ol' boys club mentality. Promo and Hiring is not based on merit or competence, just selection of favorites and people who look just like the manager.

      Advice to Management

      Request employee feedback and take action - the same problems linger and never get addressed, strengthen your hiring and promo practices to remove favoritism and bias and look at competence and skills
