    Pros

I love working here. The staff is great, and the CAREGivers are awesome. The people at my office really do love working with Seniors. It is NOT just a paycheck to myself or those I work with. I believe in the mission that we are carrying out. Our community here is great. People are outgoing, they enjoy their lives, well into there 90's. The weather here (Florida) is perfect for it. In today's economy, I am happy to see that the care for seniors is not being overlooked

    Cons

I feel that the reviews have to be taken with a grain of salt. This is a franchise, and each office is run differently. I noticed a lot of complaints and all I can say is that if you don't care for hte office you are at, find someplace else to work. This is a growing industry, with offices popping up everywhere. What I love about our area is that the staff and caregivers have one common goal. To take care of people.

    Advice to Management

I wish that the pay could be better for the Caregivers. I know that it isnt great. But I think the folks that are taking on this job, need to realize what services they are providing. It is a service that does not require a degree in any way, it is a training position. If you are looking to make $13 an hour, then get your CNA, and for nursing, you have to have an RN to earn $25 an hour. If you have these degrees or creditations, then by all means ask for a fair wage. And management shoudl recognize these skills and compensate accordingly
