Pros

They provide an opportunity for person with very little formal education or training to work. If you are prepared to work hard you can make a decent living. The company does provide a decent level of technical training

Cons

The benefits offered by the company are very expensive and many times the way management treats its employees is unacceptable. Many times managers are simply promoted from the field without adequate training on how to be managers.

Advice to Management

Improve communications and listen to your employees. Improve training and hire managers who respect their people. Investing in management training will lead to better results for the organization.

    Pros

    When employed there had a great Technical Department (entomology). From Director down. If you need help with a problem they were only a phone call or even a visit away to help you with any pest problem that you might come across. from product usage to the pests themselves. The branch personnel that I was able to lead were great. It was a joy to work there, at times.

    MICRO MANAGED MICRO MANGED MICRO MANAGED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    They tell you in a 9 am conference call every day that you run your branch as if it were you own, then away from the call they put the chains and cuffs on. My observation is that they wanted a bunch of "YES MEN" as branch managers. They did not care about anybody's family life all they wanted was $$$$. There was a offer giving to the district manager and district sales manager of a cruise if the district was the best district. That happened and did anybody from branch manager get anything, NO, not even a thank you gift, no pats on the back, NOTHING. Even the branch of the year got nothing. No one from the senior management staff or corporate staff went to the branch to even shake hands or pat backs. It was like always, back to the grind of being verbally bashed and tongue lashed like every other day. This company COULD be a great company, maybe even a Forbes 500 company if they would pull the blinder of and take care of those who make them the $$$ they are so driven for.
    If your not family you will never get past service manager in this company. NEPOTISM is hugh with this company.

    Since I left the Director of the Technical Department, Director of Human Resources and many other manager have left.

    Advice to Management

    LISTEN TO YOUR STAFF!!!! Just because they have not sat down in a college for 4 or more years does not mean the are stupid. Anybody can sit there and get lectured. A day of common sense is worth more the ten years of college.
    Knowing your customers is key to success, This company has made me believe the more college and higher the management position your are the dumber you get and forget where the money is made.

    Pros

    technical training very good other than that nothing was good for the employee or the customers .most of my customers were unhappy with office calling to set -up service

    Cons

    no morals or integrity in branch management you can be fired for no reason i was working usually 10 or 11 hrs per day for little money

    Advice to Management

    branch manager should have integrity and treat employees fairly .don't lie to employee . if you hire managers from other companies make sure they were not fired for making up false profiles on employee
