I have been working at Honeywell full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

Really good employees to work with.

Cons

Employees scared of management about unethical situations that has gone on, on the production floor. They are afraid If they bring things up to management then they fear for loosing their jobs later. Most employees are not happy working there and just waiting for opportunities to happen for them so they can move on. Racist jokes and comments constantly occurs on the floor. Some management folks are having relationships with hourly employees. Benefits arent the greatest. Company doesnt value and respect the relationships with hourly and some lower management employees.

Advice to Management

Company needs to clean house with upper management (e.g. plant manager, hr manager). and start fresh with a new management team that truly cares about the people on the floor, and show some kind of concerns to address some serious problems that occurs at this plant.

I worked at Honeywell full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There aren't any! It's a good old boy company. Honeywell came in and took over the company and promised changes and only made things worse. Fired good people and brought a lot of "their" people in from up North.

    Cons

    Promises, Promises! Nothing ever changed!

    Advice to Management

Management tried and was forced out the door. Pay was reduced when Honeywell took over. Horrible company!

I have been working at Honeywell full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Honeywell has good Benefits, but in recent years they have been cut. The company is a Fortune 100 company in the Aerospace Market, so I get to work on very interesting bids. There is also job security working for a large company.

    Cons

The pay at HTSI is low compared to other similiar companies. The work/life balance is very poor. Your are expected to work many uncompensated hours. Honeywell changed thier Medical insurance to a high deductible policy costing thier employees much more money than previous years in a standard type insurance plan.

    Advice to Management

    consider telecommuting
