    I worked at Hospira full-time

    Pros

Flexible time; tuition reimbursement or opportunities to take courses related to your job.

    Cons

Too much politics (supervisor not upfront with expectations or has "queen bee" attitude) which affects working relationships; afraid to make changes.

    Advice to Management

Use or do not overlook the expertise or strengths of employees; they may be more experienced or know more than supervisor.

    No opinion of CEO

I worked at Hospira full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Some of the best people that I ever worked with despite a tough environment with an incredible amount of concurrent programs. Testers and developers always attempted to do the right thing.

    Cons

Not enough funding to do the projects to meet expectations. Device testing and development seemed to fall second to the urgent needs from the pharmaceutical side of the business.

    Advice to Management

Be careful which testing and development efforts are given to offshore teams as they will underwhelm when projects are complex.
