    Pros

This company has been listed on Fortune's 100 Best Places to Work for a number of years. Under new leadership so long-term future is yet to be determined.

    Cons

Some areas are understaffed, which causes stress, overload and poor work/life balance. However, it's a good environment for learning, especially for those just beginning their career.

I have been working at Houston Methodist full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I love my co workers, but that's about it.

    Cons

Pay is not commensurate with experience, education, or certifications. High turnover, inexperienced management and charge nurses. High turnover.

    Advice to Management

There is a fine line between maintaining numbers and maintaining patient safety. You cross those lines every night making people feel as though our nursing license is on the line every time we work. It would be nice to have a pay increase for higher education, otherwise why go back to school?
