I worked at Hyatt full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

They offer very good pay and benefits. The hours are consistent and they feed you when you are at work (very delicious food)

    Cons

It's a very fast-paced work environtment where sometimes you end up paying for other people's mistakes and have to take it with a smile on your face. I particulary had horrible supervisors in the Aviara Resort in San Diego, CA.

    Advice to Management

Don't give peple management positions if they don't show basic people skills.

    Pros

Upward mobility, you don't feel like a number- even the GM knows your name

    Cons

Hotels never sleep so that means having to work holidays
