    Pros

Every person I worked with was kind, driven, and showed up to help everyone succeed. The benefits and comp nights are amazing, and they truly treat you like family.

    Cons

Salary is not comparable to being in the same position in the tech industry versus the hospitality industry.

    Pros

    - Friendly and welcoming atmosphere - Very cleanly and efficient departments - Co-worker relationships are fostered through regular employee appreciation days - Great for gaining hospitality, customer service, and culinary experience - Lots of opportunities for learning and acquiring skills through first-hand experience assisting in the various hotel departments

    Cons

    - Occasional lack of inter-department communication when needing to jump around from department to department, which would end up in either the department not knowing you're helping, or you having nothing to do due to the task being already done, or being expected in multiple places at once - Occasional feeling of being in the way or helplessness due to being less experienced in the given department than your co-workers, especially when there is an approaching deadline or critical problem and there's no time to be instructed on how to help - Often, decisions are made for you, and while it is reasonable in order to better assist co-workers and experience the position, it doesn't allow much opportunity to practice and improve key management skills like organization, time management, and leadership.
