Pros

Great benefits The people I had the pleasure of working with

Cons

Where to start… What I thought at first was a life-changing career move has crumbled in the blink of an eye. When I joined we solved a common challenge that legacy tech struggled with and it worked… we then decided it would be a great idea to hire some industry-leading tech goliaths to come in and rip that all up. We were sold an expensive “vision” that would change the world…. It’s not a life-saving technology.. it’s document processing. This “Human Centred Automation” message contradicted the very nature of what our technology did and it soon caught on as the market had no clue what it meant or how it helped. Although multiple people on the ground told leadership this was the case they didn’t listen. Blinded by their salaries and own greed the sales team was left to rot. Questions were being asked as to what was going on as far back as November but were met with radio silence until two days ago when over 100 people were told we had to be let go. The events that took place two days ago will have a catastrophic ripple effect on how the software will sell and I don’t see how Hyperscience comes back from this… for all of you that are still in the company… good luck.

Pros

Hyperscience is a true leader in the Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) space, utilizing genuinely cutting-edge AI and ML models to create a product demonstrably superior to its competitors. Beyond the technology, the work environment offers significant flexibility and trust: there is very little micromanagement, allowing employees to maintain a positive work-life balance and manage their own workflow.

Cons

The company is currently in a high-intensity growth mode, which translates at times into a demanding and ambiguous environment. While the high degree of flexibility is a major pro, the flip side is the expectation that every employee must be a true owner, proactively driving their own work without constant supervision.

Pros

Pays well. Great front line employees. Decent Benefits

Cons

Terrible Leadership that doesn't listen or seem to care. Their arrogance is so surprising in that they don't care about anyones opinion or seem to worry about the mass exodus of employees and legacy knowledge fleeing the company. They've had multiple rounds of layoffs with little to no communication or plan. Definitely do your homework before considering going here. They've let go a large number of employees but never backfilled and expects everyone to do work outside of what they were hired for. They keep combining roles with no consideration of workload or work life balance. They've taken do more with less way to far to the point people are leaving.
