work is challenging, people are nice to work with, many groups to interact with, salary is good, training can be good at times,

Cons

can be long hours, not much in the way of recognition, no seasonal parties, focus on process sometimes too much

    Pros

    Senior management very good. Got plenty of opportunities.loved the work and work environment.One can develop the technical skills by joining this company. Only downside is that there is too much work involved and we need to put in many hours sometimes having to sacrifice personal life.

    Excellent Product lines and engineering skills,

    Cons

    Focus too much on stockholders and executive bonus based on stock value and profit versus customer's requirements and satisfaction. Not enough people in the field. Too many managers tracking numbers instead of helping their employees.

    Advice to Management

    Focus less on IBM Stockholders and change current IBM Executive compensation plan to focus more on software development and customer satisfaction instead of IBM Stock value and profit. Hire more people to work directly with customers instead of hiring team leaders or manager to track business numbers instead of helping their employees.
