Pros

Employees' experience within IBM varies greatly from team to team and finding the correct fit can be difficult but if/when you find the right the team it's a fantastic place to work.

Cons

A lot of projects at IBM are insanely boring. IBM is more than willing to pigeon hole individuals into positions that don't interest them.

Advice to Management

Do a much better job rewarding your top performers.

    Pros

    Good Benefits and good experience especially if you are starting out early in your career. Lots of knowledge and information you attain within IBM and certificates you can get and have it paid for.

    Cons

    Experience depends on the project and roles. You can have a bad role and be stuck there for long time and this hurts you in the long run.

    Advice to Management

    Managers should have more meetings to check up and see how things are going and help their consultants if they are not satisfied.
