I worked at ICS as a contractor (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Great independent contract company
    Hard Work
    Seasonal
    Outdoors - all weather conditions

    Cons

You have to like being outdoors ALL THE TIME, in all weather conditions to perform this job...sometimes got overwhelming with one person responsible for so much...otherwise an awesome job to have....could pay a bit more

I have been working at ICS full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

As my Company is a Small organization with 200 employees ,. Work roles at small companies are often less specialized than at larger firms allowing employees to wear more hats, interact with staff in more functional areas in these smaller work environments and get a better big picture view of operations.
Since employees and their work results are more visible, it is often easier to advance in a smaller organization.
Employees often gain experience in a variety of areas, giving them multiple skills and areas of expertise to add to their resume. These small employers may also have more flexibility to consider alternative work arrangements like flex time or job sharing.
Working for a smaller company can also be a good stepping-stone to a larger employer in the same field.

    Cons

With ICS, we have fewer formal training programs, benefits packages are restricted, there is a less opportunity for growth and promotion, and the failure rate for small firms is also much higher than for larger ones.

    Advice to Management

Start making Changes, before that, it's a good idea to make sure you have a full understanding of the factors affecting your business success.
This include your current business practices, market trends or changes to the wider environment in which you operate.
