I have been working at IDG Enterprise full-time

    Pros

Has a history of being an innovative company with products very respected in the market.

    Cons

Has been slower to evolve in today's fast paced word, and while the work life balance is good, the benefits of that do not justify the lower than industry pay scales across the organization.

    Advice to Management

Invest in the company, and the employees.

I worked at IDG Enterprise (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Working with some genuinely nice and very smart people who have a passion for what they do. Creating a product that you can be proud of. Can be a good place to start out at and to work on and develop your craft (whatever that may be).

    Cons

Tough times in the publishing industry have put the company in triage mode in an attempt to regain its faded glory. Lack of investment in people and talent will make it harder for it to forge ahead with any new ideas. Cost cutting has taken a toll, company has become a follower in trends. Company culture is changing dramatically and becoming something different. Admittedly, something needed to be done to correct course.

    Advice to Management

Invest in the people and set them free with their ideas. Maintain a cohesive vision. Don't forget about keeping up quality on all fronts.
