    Current Employee - Anonymous Employee
    Doesn't Recommend
    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

    - long history of being a great company
    - large install base (although shrinking)

    Cons

    - Upper management sends very clear messages they don't care about it's employees
    - "old regime" considered incompetent by "new regime"
    - ALL new positions are going to outside people
    - Outside people are coming in at higher pay than existing loyal employees
    - Morale sucks......Or as new regime puts it "employee engagement is down"

    Advice to Management

One of the easiest ways to boost morale is to show the existing employees they have a future with the company if they work hard. Upper management should promote some deserving long-term employees into a couple high level positions and make a really big deal about it. Morale is still bad and will remain bad because the existing employees feel they are trapped and have no future. Many have non-competes, pay has been drastically reduced, benefit costs drastically increased, and to top it off if you are an existing employee you are overlooked for a promotion. If you are lucky enough to be considered you will be offered much less than someone coming from outside IGT with no gaming experience. Simple problem to fix in my opinion.
