Advice to Management

Please eliminate the unprofessional middle management and work to boost employee morale. Force management to cut out the ridiculous politics and favoritism and focus on talent and innovation. Implement accountability on behalf of management.

    Pros

    Work at Home
    Good robust benefit package
    Company paid internet and phone service
    No office politics
    No Micro-managing
    Never see boss

    Cons

    No good opportunities for advancement
    Breaks changed from (2) 15 minute breaks to (2) 10 minute breaks
    No opportunity to get to know co-workers
    Tedious work
    Low pay
    Need to have specific support for products serviced
    No interation with Senior Management (left with feeling of not important)

    Advice to Management

    Allow all employees to engage with management to give a sense of inclusion.
    Sponsor employee outings to create team/family (loyalty) climate.

    Pros

    ING has some great, very smart people working there. If you can find pockets of talent to work with ING is a very enjoyable place to be.

    Cons

    Very political
    Lack of accountability
    Challenging 4 years have made employees fearful of losing their jobs. Fear has a tendency to bring out the worst in people.
