    Pros

    Friendly co-workers and work areas

    Cons

No care about loyalty to employee. Many employees were laid off with 1 day notice.

    Advice to Management

Management needs to take ownership of their positions and not act like typical "government" employees who have no knowledge of their positions and are only there because they could "stick" it out. Some of the orientations were given by staff who my 2nd grader can read better than and definitely give a better presentation.

I worked at IRS full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Get your foot in the door for future positions and possible career. Above average pay to start and just goes up every time you work there. Great benefits and work environment. Work is basic paper filing and processing mail to each department.

    Cons

Counting papers or processing mail all day tends to get boring at times but is sure better then breaking your back outside or dealing with rude customers for minimum wage. If you ever busted your behind you'll think its not so bad as you thought an well worth it.

    Advice to Management

Tend to be more hands on for seasonal employees and temps and don't expect other employees to just help out with the training.
