Pros

Iconik is still in the early growth stages meaning there are lots of opportunities to create new roles for yourself and gain more responsibility. Multicultural environment - you get to work with some great people from all around the world as the new marketplaces Iconik sell in is constantly expanding to new areas Challenging - it's never a dull day, with plenty always to be done, the work day flies by!

Cons

Communication - As the company headquarters are based in Germany and warehouses in the USA, it can be challenging to get specific tasks completed with the various time differences. However this can be overcome with the correct time management.

Pros

Very innovative company in Ecommerce. Anyone looking for a positive and flexible work environment should consider Iconik. Here people are valued and appreciated. The multicultural working atmosphere reflects the spirit of teamwork: you never work alone, the manager will give you continuous feedback to improve your job and grow in your role. Everyone’s there to help you succeed.

Cons

Nothing really to note here. This is one of the best companies I have worked for.

Pros

Great young educated work colleagues in Dublin all accepting low pay to make a start in life and hoping to have a career there or at least gain experience to move on to something better.

Cons

Obnoxious exploitative management who are based in the Head Office (and visit the Dublin office monthly) who underpay qualified staff and then fire you before 12 months so that you don’t have any rights under the Unfair Dismissals Act. While you are still there they will place an ad for your replacement online when they feel ready to get rid of you and so that when they do tell you to go they have someone waiting in line to take over. They even have you train the staff that are replacing you. The CEO asks other work colleagues to participate in the interviewing process for such replacement staff unknown to the person about to be fired that it his his / her job they are interviewing for. The atmosphere in the office is awful. None of my former colleagues were happy there as everyone is treated appallingly. This company is only in Ireland to avail of low Corporation Tax rates. There is no such thing as dignity and respect in the workplace . Verbal abuse and abuse over email and messages is standard. People are simply not treated as people, you're just a work horse to them. Management make out that you have lots of opportunity in this company but its not true at all. They underpay you and make out like they are doing you a favour, likes it a privilege to work for them. Management never honestly praise you. The only time you get praise is when they want to give you more work. You get praise, then they say because you did a good job you should do more work. Its a never ending cycle. Profit is all that matters to them. Employees are used and mistreated solely to maximise profit for them. They don’t pay salary on time, sometimes waiting a week later than you should of been. While Ireland has great foreign investment e.g Google, Apple etc we should not tolerate foreign organisations that mistreat their Irish based staff. Ireland is a high wage country with low unemployment and does not want/need foreign companies that just want to exploit our low tax rates and quality workforce. If you join this company it could seriously damage your career as there is a high possibility you will be fired within 12 months which will look terrible on your CV. It did on mine. It would be highly dangerous to do if you have children and a mortgage as you could find yourself looking for a job very soon. If I could leave 0 stars I would, they don't even deserve 1 star.
