      Lots of online meetings, no offices for in-person meet-ups or gatherings.

      Projects are sometimes very one-dimensional and could become stale when you work on one project for longer than a year.

      - You'll learn a lot very quickly - You are exposed to different roles and project types due to the consulting nature of the business - You get to work with driven, passionate designers who champion in the user on all designs.

      Cons

      - Clients get attached to consultants and want them to renew their contract year after year. This becomes tricky if you want to change the industry you're working in.
