I have been working at Impact Orlando full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Impact Marketing is a wonderful way to get your foot in the door with a professional job in the in person marketing space. The Impact team is strong, and everyone works together to be as effective and efficient as possible. Upper management is always available to mentor and train no matter how long you have been with the company.

Cons

The work can be a little overwhelming at first. But the training program throughly prepares you for work out in the field. The rest of the team is always happy to help, and everyone is really good friends outside of the office.

Advice to Management

Overall, the company is great! however, it would be nice to do community service and team outings as a group.

I worked at Impact Orlando full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

If you liked to have no work/life balance, no career opportunities, senior management talks down to you, and no compensation- this job is for you.

    Cons

You're a door to door salesperson. They won't tell you upfront what the position is and your "Corporate trainer" will beat around the bush as well. Its not until you're on the job that you find out you'll be approaching people on the street as well as other businesses to have them purchase makeup, flat irons, or dinner coupons.

    Advice to Management

You should be upfront with potential employees throughout the interview process. If I would've known that it was a door to door sales position, I would've declined.

I worked at Impact Orlando full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Traveling to different areas without boundaries. Also, not sitting at a desk all day.

    Cons

The hours are terrible. You work Monday-Friday from 7:30-5:30 and Saturdays from 9am-3pm. Your work is to travel to shopping plazas and parking lots to sell makeup and hair straighteners.

    Advice to Management

Find better ways to market the product like having a contract with a big retailer. Don't be greedy!
