    Disapproves of CEO

    I worked at InVue full-time

    Pros

    - products are excellent and the company invests a lot of money in R&D
    - good salary.

    Cons

    - employees have to report extremely often (weekly (has to be updated daily), monthly, quarterly and in addition phone calls - all about the same topics of course)
    - micromanagement style
    - hire and fire mentality (check on linkedin how extreme the labor turnover is, InVue is always searching for new employees but the total number is not changing that much)
    - targets are often unrealistic and you will get no hint how they have been calculated or how to reach them
    - atmosphere of fear

    Advice to Management

Begin to trust your team, you have hired great people with a lot of experience, so better listen to them.

    Pros

Decent engineer team. Somehow innovative for the industry although latest tendency is to follow others. Nice facilities in Charlotte. Decent offices in EU and APAC although unfriendly.

    Cons

Saying that there's micromanagement is an understatement.

Bosses bully their subordinates for irrelevant reports on every single task performed without clear or constructive feedback. The only reason is to make the bosses look in control.

Constant pressure to make the directors shine without proper success recognition despite great success.

I've seen great colleagues who help building the company international expansion being mistreated and let go just for petty reasons, ego and insecurities.

I have yet to find an ex employee who doesn't regret the mistreatment by some regional top bosses who in general have no management skills other than "rule by fear".

A pity. It could have been a much better place.

    Advice to Management

Managers wouldn't listen to any advice.
