Pros

The company culture is design centric and non-corporate. Company is growing, and there are many opportunities to take initiative and see the results of your work directly.

Cons

Company is still relatively small, so there are growing pains in managing the growth

Advice to Management

Work hard to maintain the current company culture that is steeped in the worlds of art and design as the company grows

I worked at Incase (California) full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The brand. FREE LUNCH ( only because I can't think of anything else). I'm really trying and there is a 20 word minimum for this section.

    Cons

Incase is now run by the incipio team. They completely gutted this amazing company and are slowly killing the brand by cheapening the products. Basically turning it into InCHEAPio. Incase is now headquartered in the Incipio building where you are surrounded by fresh out of college, first job, no professional etiquette employees. Upper management encourages a competitive ( political ) environment instead of a team atmosphere. The benefits are terrible and they really try to sell you on the free lunch thing, which, if you're 20, live at home and have no bills I guess free lunch would be enough of a perk since you're probably still on your parents insurance. All of management has zero power, everything is decided by the great and mighty Andy, even your bonus. Advice to potential new talent: RUN!!!

    Advice to Management

No advice to management since you guys can't make decisions on your own. My advice is for Andy. While yes I'll admit you're a smart man, you didn't get where you are for being dumb, however, you might sustain yourself should you begin to invest in your employees. TRUST them, otherwise don't hire them. give the REAL AUTHORITY. And finally, remember you have real people with real feelings working for you. They want to give it all they've got but relationships are give and take. I think you'd be surprised at what you can get out of your employees once you start respecting them and their lives.
