I have been working at Independence Village full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

-Even if you are a housekeeper or dishwasher, if you are full-time, you get benefits.
-Talking with the residents and getting to know them

Cons

-Getting too big for themselves
-Lots of ego from upper management
-24 hours a day / 365 days a year
-Cuts and cuts keep occurring to employees
-Little to no support from regionals and executives while expecting more and more from you
-Management is out for themselves with little concern for the residents

Advice to Management

Don't take away holiday pay. Get younger people in at corporate. Don't screw over your hourly employees.

    - Don't play the favorites game (you know you do)
    - Appreciate long-term employees
