    Approves of CEO

    Pros

Bloomington is a lovely town with lots of wonderful amenities (great parks, restaurants, museums, entertainment venues, and a really great library).

    Cons

Indiana University, like lots of universities, is heavy on administration (more vice presidents than you can shake a stick at) and change happens slowly.

    Advice to Management

Compared to colleagues with comparable education, experience, and skill sets working at other universities, my salary averages $10,000 to $15,000 per year less. Yes, living expenses may be a bit lower in Bloomington than in some of these other areas, but it's not that much lower.
