Pros

Therapist lead, they really do try to balance clinical excellence, profit and employee satisfaction.

Cons

They can expect too much and work people to the point of exhaustion.

Advice to Management

Don't spread your employees so thin

"A very disappointing company directly related to management and unethical treatment of employees."

I have been working at Infinity Rehab (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Large employee base for infinity rehab.

    Cons

It is true that the company spreads it's resources, employees, too thin. However, many SNFs are in this position and it is unfortunate. I was most disappointed by the degree to which bullying by upper management was allowed and even approved of by HR. Direct and implied threats to someone's green card status if they do not put in greater than a 40 hour work week, yet report less time, are inexcusable (among other issues).

    Advice to Management

Advice to employees: have upper management discussions with HR present and have all requests made in writing so that the company is able to recognize and possibly fix violations.

    Doesn't Recommend
    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

    -Lots of job openings
-Ease of moving locations, if that is important to you
    -Decent salary
-Assistants are allowed to be Director of Rehab's as well as therapists
-There is a good system in place to allow therapists/assistants to pursue a DOR position and the training that is needed
-Annual Symposium for employees to get together and gain CEU's

    Cons

-They are currently threatening to cut benefits and have already cut short term and long term disability without any warning, leaving pregnant employees with a major loss of income and no way to make it up.
-The productivity expectation is 85% which is too high considering all the extra paperwork they require along with a major shortage of computers. This leaves 50 minutes a day to do everything from document, talk to nurses, do the extra req'd paperwork, wait in line for a computer, gather patients, etc.
-Taking PTO is difficult at best and they do require employees to work all major holidays including Christmas day and Thanksgiving day, and not just partial days but all day. One employee from each discipline is allowed off at each building.
    -Very high stress job.
-The upper management has been out of the field for too long. They frequently make new rules/requirements that are supposed to make our jobs easier but reality is, it makes it more difficult.

    Advice to Management

Work in the field treating patients for at least 1-2 days every month in various different buildings. It would give you a new perspective on what the day in a therapist is really like with all the new Medicare rules and extra paperwork.
