Pros

Technology business in the proper market for growth. all the opportunity in the world for success.
People might be able to care about business again if treated properly. Loyalty and dedication were always high, but has slipped considerably.

Cons

Morale is poor.
Management does not know its employees or even care about their lives. It's about a paycheck, not recognition or support.
Fear to say anything that is a suggestion that might differ from top management - fear of layoff or firing. Nobody says a word or asks a question or makes a suggestion.
If you do not align yourself with the proper person and their assistants, you will be bad-mouthed and critized to other top managers. It's a "I'm wonderful" - "you're a bad employee" syndrome if you are not playing politics to admin assts.
Too much power to the Assistant to management. People fear her reprisals.
No training at all - just do it or be fired.
Nobody wants to share their experience or knowledge for fear they will lose their jobs.
Leadership should be by example, not different rules and perks for different people.
Quick to replace people rather than train those that are in place. No acceptance of responsibility to teach on the part of management. Quick to condemn, slow to share knowledge or find a training solution.

Advice to Management

Learn more about your employees and their needs. These are the people who will make you successful. Communicate more. Everyone's lives and future are at stake in the company; it's not all about top management making their millions. Know the worth of each of your "worker bees".

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

    Good Pay and life balance

    Cons

No organization whatsoever. Information is closely guarded and not shared (I guess a sick sort of insurance of job security) - company, as well as individuals cannot thrive in this environment.

    Advice to Management

Stop the "me" attitude and take time to listen and train your organization.
