Negative Outlook
No opinion of CEO

I worked at Infosys full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Very good Infrastructure. Good recreational facilities. The transport facility provided by the company is very good but then the sheer number of employees who make use of the facility sometimes can be an issue

Cons

Not so good pay. Technically good folks leaving the organization for greener pastures . The other problem is the frequent change in the eligibility criteria for giving promotions. The dress code and the enforcement of the same as if it were a school is really annoying.

Advice to Management

Recognize and retain the talent in the organization

I have been working at Infosys full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great Campus, all facilities like Gym, Swimming pools, Yoga rooms etc available within campus to keep you fit.

    Cons

No job satisfaction, minimum salary hikes, very high percentage of variable pay which does not get added to salary in difficult times.

    Advice to Management

Start looking into the employee benifits also if you want the company to do well in the markets. An empty stomach cannot do hard work and labour.

  2. "World class in many ways..but has no idea about how to harness the incredible talent pool at its disposal"

I worked at Infosys full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Training is par excellence
Safe work environment (esp for women)
Easy to maintain work life balance
    Avant garde facilities
Lots of oppoertunities for creative people,,very active cultural scene

    Cons

Too many to list..primarily, if you hire talented people and put them through a 5 month intense and challenging training ( where people lose their jobs if they can't perform)..then ensure that the bunch that gets through,,has something worth their while to do afterwards. Its really frustrating and disappointing otherwise..like a complete disrespect of your own selection criterion and the employee's hard work.

    Advice to Management

You are leaders for a reason..don't always say why you are unable/afraid to take a stand.
Also, employees are not students..they need to be convinced not bossed..
HR department hardly does anything other than organizing unimaginative (compulsory!!) weekly games. They are mostly clueless.
