Pros

You can learn something fresh if the subject material is new to you ( especially in MBA Courses where every professor can bring something different to the table) . The law of diminishing returns takes hold very quickly.

You get your life back when the class is done.

Cons

If you divide the pay by the number of hours of honest effort required - you will get half the federal minimum wage. Honest effort also implies whiny students who will fight for a more marks - sometimes even when they are getting an A. So the only way to do anything is to sham and give all the students a higher grade ( that way every one is happy)

I taught a 7 week class with crazy amount of grading ( almost 10 questions / week) .I got paid 460 for the entire course. I earn more than that in a day with my regular job. Go figure.

Advice to Management

You need to pay 3X of what you currently do for me to even consider working with you ever again.

    Pros

The opportunity to work with faculty and students at great universities was awesome. However, the experience working with the IC staff was not great.

    Cons

The coordinators take as many courses as they want for themselves. They also"teach" hundreds of students and water down the quality of the student experience

    Advice to Management

pay more attention to what your full time employees are doing
