Cons
Executive management is utterly hostile to employees. Middle management is largely supportive but they have no power to improve the lot of their employees, and get in trouble for advocating for front-line staff. The pay is below what you'd make in the private sector, but the bigger problem is that executive management believes that staff is disposable - they pay lip service, but don't do anything about the obscene amount of staff turnover (they don't have to deal with any of the problems it causes). The CEO in particular has been flat-out lying to staff about the union drive that is currently happening at the agency, to the point that it insults the intelligence of the employees.
