I have been working at Intel Corporation full-time (Less than a year)

Pros

Extremely safe environment to work in. The benefits are great, I don't think many companies could compare their health plan to intel's. Lots of opportunities to grow within this company.

Cons

Extremely tough work hours if you work the night shift. On call engineers also work 24/7. no compressed work week shift allows you to have your standard weekend. You are constantly off schedule with the rest of your family. No work/life balance

Advice to Management

Management should come up with better work hours

I have been working at Intel Corporation full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Strong financial performance and leadership from top
Job security is good as the company continues to perform and have low volatility in employee turnover
Rotation program provides way to broaden your skillset and experience, and learn different business units at Intel

    Cons

Very hierarchical and process oriented (too much bureaucracy)
Hours could be long, although the hours are flexible as long as work is completed on time
Rotattion program adds to ramp time as you start a new in a new role every 1.5 to 2 years; this is both a pro and a con, depending on how you look at it

    Advice to Management

Need to cut out unnecessary processes
Need to increase communication with employees
