I worked at Intel Corporation as an intern (Less than a year)

Pros

I liked the technical expertise of the company and employees and the nature of the projects I got to work on; the salary, area, and benefits were very good.

Cons

The work environment is kind of drab; it was easy to become worried about the future of the company due to the lack of significant progress in areas outside of Intel's core competency.

Advice to Management

Put in way more effort in the mobile space (you've got a good thing going there, but almost everyone outside the company thinks your current execution is either poor or unfocused), and definitely try looking at entering other technology sectors. At the moment, outside of mobile and datacenters, things aren't looking good.

I have been working at Intel Corporation full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

often interesting work when dealing with the latest technology. There is more than enough resources to afford any required tools.

    Cons

archaic bureaucracy, idiotic rating process called 'focals' that undermine any sense of team. management offers self justifying platitudes rather than taking any real action.
    company seems in constant churn
groups are swapped around like checkers

    Advice to Management

break the company up into separate business units, especially free up the mobile from the PC/server past. Let it be truly agile
