I worked at Intel Corporation as an intern (Less than a year)

Pros

excellent peers and supervisor. exposure to most latest technologies available and get to see what exactly happens in the industry.

Cons

lot of chaos. doesn't let an intern explore beyond the job roles. Unlike the actual norm of interns are groomed for future positions uses interns to generally work on some random stuff to get the work done and leave.

Advice to Management

can venture into new markets and can be more consumer oriented

I have been working at Intel Corporation full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Competitive Salary, challenging work, flexible schedule, great in house training opportunities, lots of internal movement opportunities. Great employee perks.

    Cons

Yearly review process is kind of old school, not a software culture even though lots of software is developed. New concepts are generally not given enough time to flourish if not profitable quickly. Expected more perks like food and hardware, etc.

    Advice to Management

Aggressively get ride of poor performing management, there are some really great people under that dead weight. Look specifically at HR and employee feedback data and weed out those preventing positive culture changes.

I worked at Intel Corporation full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

You can do rotation and get exposed to different job functions. A Very employee friendly company.

    Cons

85% of the employees don't get any raise, tough to get promoted unless someone leaves the company or moves out of the group, you will have a chance, and typically people don't move.
