Approves of CEO

I have been working at Intel Corporation as an intern (Less than a year)

Pros

Great salary/compensation. Flexible work hours (as long as your work is quality and results are achieved). Friendly colleagues. Free whole fruit/soda/coffee/tea.

Cons

As expected with large corporations, you must be adept at dealing with politics. Don't be a jerk, remain curious, and you should be fine. Work areas remain dull, corporate-like, and could use more color / creative design.

Advice to Management

Be open to change and innovation. Don't get stuck in the past.

    No opinion of CEO

I worked at Intel Corporation full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Intel's commitment to Safety is, in my opinion, second to none. Safety First is more than a motto - it is a way of life, encouraged at every level in the company.

    Cons

At one time Intel had a strong reputation for promoting from within. Now the institutionalized roadblocks make it nearly impossible for a technician to grow into an engineering position. Silo mentalities dominate many areas in the company.

    Advice to Management

As you look to the future, beware of ignoring those who have gotten you this far. A tremendous store of experience and knowledge has been neglected. Beware of treating personnel as a fungible asset.
