    Tough but not cruel

    Pros

Intel managment is generally open about why any desision, from why a project is kicking off to why Intel is exiting a business.

    Cons

Intel is ruthless in pursuit of efficancy. If you are not doing something you love you probably won't be doing it long.

Good for Starting Resume (Innovation 4 Site)

    Pros

For Innovation 4 site (SJ4) in San Jose, CA -Other technicians and in-lab engineers are extremely friendly and helpful -Many benefits and perks (only if you are anything except contingent employee) -Lots of support for COVID-related topics (only if you are anything except contingent employee)

    Cons

-Contingent employees, especially those required to be on-site to support and do the work for full-time employees at home get EXCLUDED from almost ALL rewards and perks. -Contingent employees are excluded from any bonus or raises, even if they perform above and beyond their on-paper responsibilities. -Contingent employees, even if they do the EXACT same roles as Full-Time employees get excluded from basic functions (management meetings, lab status update meetings, update and forecast emails, etc). -The Intel direct-report manager for Innovation 4 for contingent employees does NOT support or manage their direct reports in any reasonable manner. Emails often get ignored, basic information never gets shared (employee schedules for PTO, sick leave notices to co-workers, project updates/changes). Additionally they are EXTREMELY unreasonable in how they expect contingent workers to be scheduled, very often changing their shifts THE DAY OF with no prior notification (this can happen consecutively for weeks). Some of the worse management I have ever been under.
