I have been working at InterCall full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

-Customer Care skills are sharpened
-Give aways during busy seasons
-Business driven

Cons

-Learned the art of manipulation and deceit
-Management purposely create animosity among staff
-Over worked and extremely under paid

Advice to Management

More training on how to be a effective manager; workers are no greater the leader. If the leadership is Inadequate so will the workers.

    I worked at InterCall full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    They will hire just about anyone. A great work environment. Very friendly coworkers and managment is very nice. Very easy gonig on PTO.

    Cons

    Management is dillusional. The parent company, West Corporation, has no idea of what actually goes on. THe pay is not very good. Broken promises left and right about compensation for monthly commissions. They play bait and switch with its employees. Lots of nepitism.

    Advice to Management

    Advice is to upper managment. Get a real training program, one that is recognized by the sales community. Change your hiring practices. Raise the pay of your sales people to meet the cost of living for their territory. Listen to your employyes.

    Pros

    Very flexible telecommuting opportunities. From a lifestyle perspective, InterCall is very flexible with you working from almost anywhere at anytime. They almost have to be based on the type of product they sell or they would be hypocrites.

    Cons

    This is a sales department run organization, thus it is highly fragmented with too many one-off constraints that hurt their ability to adapt and move with the technology. Sooner or later their competitors will catch and surpass them.

    Advice to Management

    None, they need to all be removed. The level of incompetence, lack of communication, and constant redirection of resources will continue to cause top talent to leave. The attrition is strictly their fault.
