ALL of the managers that I've personally encountered have been great. They always e-mail you about changes, issues, dress down days, etc. to keep you in the loop.

    Pros

The people you meet & the benefits you get when traveling (if you're lucky to get them).

    Cons

Management is poor, as well as communication down the line.

    Advice to Management

Share what going on & Don't be so stingy with benefits.

    Positive Outlook

I worked at InterContinental Hotels Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The environment is really nice, and most of the people they hire there are fantastic; plus the one person that got on everyone's nerves quit. The Hotel Restaurant is the best in town, the Executive Chef is absolutely amazing!

    Cons

The pay is pretty low compared to smaller hotels in the area.

    Advice to Management

Raise the pay. Do your 90 day employee reviews at 90 days, not 150 or so days. If the employee is doing well, or at least better than when they started give them a raise as an incentive to keep them.
