Editorial expectations and structure can be disorganized Email communication can be unprofessional at times Sometimes editors can act on emotion instead of logic and professionalism Favoritism occurs Pay not high enough after you get experience under your belt Will sometimes be VERY late on their payments (Specific to freelancers) Also expects a lot for pay that is low/average Revolving door makes it feel like it's unstable Lets people go without seemingly good reasons Higher ups come off as high and mighty
