Unethical practices - impossibly high productivity levels, coercing employees to work off the clock, too many aides/assistants and not enough licensed therapists. Licensed therapists are bogged down by paperwork and don't have time to actually to complete assessments and create appropriate treatment plans. There is no time for therapists to communicate or even take bathroom breaks. Patient care and satisfaction is not a priority. Profits and minimum costs are the priority. Below subpar, incompetent, unethical employees drag good, ethical, hardworking employees down. Ineffective management and HR. Zero mentorship. Employee concerns are ignored, minimized, or laughed at. Therapists are shifted from one placement to another on a whim. Therapists feel defeated because they are not valued or protected. Administrator, DON, contract company always take priority even when they are unethical or biased.
