Neutral Outlook
No opinion of CEO

I worked at Intermountain Healthcare full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

Good benefits. Enough good employees to achieve success in spite of neurotic executive team.

Cons

Nilly willy senior leadership who focus on making a name for themselves without respect to employees. Middle managers chosen more for ability to toe the party line than for being top-notch.
Many recent corporate initiatives in revenue cycle, productivity improvement, and supply chain have been very poorly executed with bad results due to incompetent leadership mostly recruited from inside and staffed with insiders without specific experience. The organization could do much better that the VPs and AVPs attempting to lead these efforts.

Advice to Management

Some personality disorders are uncurable. I don't think respect for employees will come about without a leadership change in Ogden. Get rid of widespread nepotism flowing down from the senior ranks.
