I have been working at International Paper full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Environment, Safety Culture, Benefits, Salary, Training. I can't say enough about how much I love working at IP. I have a flexible schedule and the ability to do my job without being micromanaged. Pay is right on the mark for the industry and the benefits can't be beat. 1 week vacation for the first year, then 3 weeks vacation after that. Floating holidays + awesome health insurance. IP is a class act and I feel... very lucky to be a part of the team!

    Cons

They push you outside of your comfort zone to improve. Sometime the sales goals are pretty aggressive, but as long as you're giving it your all, you'll be fine!

    Advice to Management

Awesome place to work! Keep up the good work!

I worked at International Paper for less than a year

    Pros

The company culture at IP is one that prioritizes diversity & inclusion, safety, and character. Most everyone within the company is personable, and as long as you are dedicated and diligent, the opportunities to leave an impact are plentiful.

    Cons

The work itself as an intern can be monotonous and less than challenging, even though you are assigned "real responsibilities". Also, as with working in any large company, there are knowledge gaps and inefficiencies as far as on-boarding and knowledge transfers are concerned.
